CLINICAL LABORATORY
Metropolitan Medical Laboratory is the laboratory of choice for healthcare providers in the Quad Cities. We perform almost three million tests annually, and more than 98% of all tests are performed locally. Our vast array of specialized tests includes molecular biology, infectious disease, and tumor markers, for starters.

ANATOMIC PATHOLOGY
We’ve got the best – 15 expert pathologists to serve you. The skill level of our pathologists runs deep, to include fellowship training and published research. We know you want the best for your patients, so we’re only a phone call away for a consultation, or to pull out a slide for quick review.

We’re here whenever you need us.

Courier Service: Our fleet of couriers is available for pick-up of specimens and delivery of reports on a daily basis. Courier stops can be scheduled to coincide with your hours of operation. STAT pickups are available upon request. Call our Courier Department for more information.

Supplies: For our ordering physician clients, we will provide you with the specimen collection supplies that your office requires for those tests that will be ordered through Metropolitan Medical Laboratory. There is no cost for this service. Call our Courier Department for more information.

Central Scheduling: Our service delivery goal is to provide ONE number to send your orders where they will be received in a timely manner EVERY TIME. Our Central Scheduling office is your primary contact for all future (non-STAT, non-same-day) orders. When your patient arrives at any of our 10 Patient Service Centers, their order will be there, ready to provide them with a quick and friendly visit.  Click here for more information.

Interface to EMR: We can interface with any Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system that you choose.
